Experience

Implementing the Salesforce brand expression across all content for Salesforce.org, which offers Salesforce technology to nonprofit and education industries at a discounted rate. While taking into account the complexity of the missions of current and potential customers, I work to expand the Salesforce expression to authentically speak to them and about them. Audiences for creative work reside in the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions with photography and customer differentiations throughout.

Managing a team of contractors, freelancers, and agencies to streamline and accelerate the production of digital content design for all industry teams. Holistic approach from initial project kickoff through to the distribution of an asset. Tailoring processes and developing SLAs to aid in cross-functional efforts to inform timelines and expectations. Leading junior creatives through innovation cycles — from line extensions to category research, and contributing to product innovation feedback to ensure the client developed a visually unique and on-trend product.

Designer for a specialty food company that sells a range of dry spices, rubs, and mixes in Chicago. Products sold at national retailers, company online storefront, and private label product development.

Oversaw packaging design for concepts of new products through production, managed brand standards, created and directed web content, and acted as company food stylist and photographer. Manager of Junior Designer and a team of interns. Providing print quality management throughout all packaging by being press side during production runs and communicating with vendors and printers.

Key roles include art direction through production on select brands (Roundy’s PetCare, Simply Snacks, Simply Natural & Organic, and Aldi extensions), identity development, CPG, and boutique packaging design. Work could be found on-shelf domestically and internationally.

Creation of market research by gathering, laying out, and dissecting findings to present category trends to inform innovation cycles. Sourcing of stock illustration and photography, mood board development, POS, and store program development.

Junior designer supporting senior designer and art director for an American chain of supermarkets based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Key roles included contributing to and maintaining company brand identity, coordination of content and design of the monthly in-store publication, coordination of projects going to print and meeting in-store delivery, development of new and ongoing in-store signage, development of store and corporate level festival identities and event materials, private label packaging design, and photo art direction and stylist for monthly photo shoots.

  • With 10+ years of press run experience with flexo, roto, and offset printing, my work for print projects always takes print limitations into account to ensure the final printed product can be produced to look as good as the final on-screen design.

    Experience with leading domestic and international press checks.

  • Work cross-functionally to develop workflows and tailoring processes to ensure speed with accuracy to get to a final asset.

  • Experience in art directing of food-focused photo shoots, mood board and prop sourcing for shoots, and sourcing of stock photo library to expand a brand’s existing photography.

  • Background of leading teams of junior, mid-level, and senior designers to further develop their skills, mentor through challenges as well as celebrate their wins within their career.
